Breaking News: End Op appeals to do an end-run around Lost Pines District
and Judge Carson Campbell’s recent ruling for landowners!  Take action, y'all!

Last week’s decision by Lost Pines to take no action apparently left the door open for End Op. We have no idea if this was Lost Pines’ intention but unless Lost Pines takes action right away, landowners are once again left in the cold by the Lost Pines District!

Please take action immediately -- call and email the Lost Pines District NOW!
See below for all you need, including all y'all who don't live in Bastrop & Lee counties.

Background:

State District Judge Carson Campbell recently ruled in favor of four landowners. The Judge said the landowners were entitled to be heard at a formal hearing the District needs to call on End Op’s permit. The Judge revoked End Op’s permit, pending that hearing. The Judge put the ball squarely in the Lost Pines District’s hands.

Citizens asked the District not to appeal the Judge’s ruling. The District instead “tabled” any action at all. Does that mean they are intentionally doing nothing for their constituents? If they do that, End Op has shown every willingness to take over. End Op filed its own appeal of the Judge’s ruling yesterday.

Unless Lost Pines District quickly steps in to formally grant a hearing to the Landowners, the District will be COMPLICIT in End Op’s intention to derail the Judge’s decision.

Take Action Please!

  • Write a short email message to the District's Board of Directors. Ask them to IMMEDIATELY GRANT A HEARING TO LANDOWNERS in the End OP dispute. Address your message to the Lost Pines Board of Directors. Subject line: DO NOT APPEAL and CALL A HEARING. Send to:

Board President Mike Talbot (mike.talbot.4@gmail.com), and

District's General Manager James Totten (jtotten@lostpineswater.org)

  • Call the District's General Manager James Totten at (512) 360-5088. Urge that the District IMMEDIATELY GRANT A HEARING TO LANDOWNERS (Plaintiffs) in the End OP dispute.

  • If you don't live in Lee or Bastrop counties, please note that End Op wants to move this water to the I-35 Corridor to continue hyper-growth affecting us all -- especially Hays, Travis and Williamson counties and the Edwards Aquifer and its recharge zones! Share this message. Join LIV here. Contribute to to the Simsboro legal defense fund here.

Don't let these water grabbers at End Op get away with it!
